Geocache Description:

This is a mystery multi-cache in a beautiful Harvard conservation land with several beautiful rock formations. There are 6 interim stages and a final. The terrain is rough at a few stages, so please use caution in the winter. All stages are winter friendly under light conditions. Two stages may be difficult in fresh or heavy snow. The puzzle is relatively easy. A few of the hides are more challenging.

The listed coordinates are NOT for the first stage of the cache, but you can park there. You must solve the puzzle below to determine the coordinates. You need to make a couple of keen observations and do some simple analysis. There is parking at the (unmarked) trailhead of this conservation land. The stages generally follow the trail. After stage 4, return back on the trail to stage 5. Bushwhacking can be rough in this area.

Consider the following list of sentences. Each sentence contains a hidden element. Discover the hidden element in each sentence and deduce the connection with the theme that binds together all the elements. Some of the elements are subtle, but once you have the theme, you can reason through all 10 elements unambiguously. Determine the coordinates as outlined below.

A. My heart pounded as Dylan risked a week’s salary on the roll of a die.
B. In London, fifty pence doesn’t even buy a cup of Earl Grey tea anymore.
C. Let’s circle back and fact-check each key point made by the talking heads.
D. Standing in line for the Pink Floyd tickets consumed half the day.
E. Orthogonal is derived from the Greek orthos, meaning straight, and gonia, meaning angle.
