This walk will take you up Rio Higueron all the way to where the water is "collected" and start the travel down to the faucets in the houses of Frigiliana. From old the inhabitans of Frigiliana was called "Aguanosos" which means something like "the people with water". It is kind of easy to understand why when you see the eternal stream of crystal-clear mountain water entering the waterpipes up here.
There is no visible path the last 100 meter or so. You just go uphill behind the small white house and find your way passed a lot of big olive trees. You should not be in a hurry when walking up the riverbed. Please take the time needed to enjoy the beauty of nature here in the mountains of Frigiliana. Safe trip.
