Geocache Description:

Robert Street Park is our second ever cache and the second cache in the series Winthrop Wonders. The series is not only completed by me but also my younger geobrother Gunzo The Cow.

THE AREA

The cache is located at Robert Street Park next to busy Leach Highway. The park has plenty of space to run around in and sheltered by many pine trees. There is a playground for the kids to play in while you look for the cache and there is a basketball area with a fairly new ring to shoot balls. There are many paths through and around the park. Unfortunately there are no official parking bays but ideas include like most people do are park alongside the park on the road or at Bunnings and cross at the traffic lights. The area is mainly grass and good to kick a footy. There are plenty of places to sit, in the sun or shade.

THE CACHE

The cache is, fully black and the dimensions are 2cm x 6cm x 2cm. It has room for a log and a small pencil but nothing else. Please bring your own tweasers to remove the log. The area of the cache has many grass trees (Black-boys) and it shaded by pine trees. If you find the cache please be careful removing the lid. Pull the end of the cache that has the house sticker on it to open it. Please replace it exactly the same as you found it. Please be careful of plants and animals.
