In the Rough - ISLAND MADNESS Traditional Cache

For this holiday season we, Fanasfreaks and Davidandbritt, wanted to do something special for all our fellow caching friends. We wanted to give a geo-gift that would continue giving for quite some time. After over three months of paddling, our gift was complete. We hope you enjoy it!!! Have Fun!!!
 

This cache is one of 100 stand alone caches placed on Lake Lanier as a Christmas gift to our fellow geocachers.  Each of the 100 caches contains a letter/number combination.  Make sure to write those down.  You will need those to solve the 5/5 Island Madness Challenge Cache.

Not too much of a golfer, so of course when we take a swing at a golf ball (island) our shot lands in the rough.  Being in a hurry we decided to leave the errant container for you to find.  Last we saw it landed with a loud thud.  kicking up some large rocks and chucks of wood.  Then a split second later we heard about three more thuds.  As if the rocks had somehow landed back on top of the container.
