Geocache Description:

A lonely stump stands guard at the entrance to a old Steam Train Park.
So lonely, wont you come find its cache please.
The 4th in my STUMPED series.

This was the site for the

Smokey Mountain and Grizzley Flats Steam Railroad
This Attraction is now CLOSED to the Public !

HISTORY: Smokey Mountain and Grizzley Flats Steam Railroad offer a half-hour ride through 4 km of bushland along a 300-mm track. It is located at Mountain Rd, Warnervale, 8.5 km west of the Wallarah Pt Bridge. They were open on the first and last Sundays of the month and on most public holidays, from 11.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. but closed from November-December. Smokey Mountain is not open to the public owing to OH&S. The last know running times were around  JUNE 2009.

Reports from 1998 stated the owner was not interested in its Public Running,

 and costs back then were around $500K. 

I believe some continuation moved over to the Narara in the CCSMC.
