The I-275 Bike Trail uses Hines Drive to connect the sections north and south of I-96 / I-275 and M-14. This is one of a set of four caches to fill in the area between Wilcox Road and Plymouth Road. Hopefully some day all the various sections will be connected up. As with the other sections, I am naming them after bicycle manufacturers. This cache is named after Heinkel. Heinkel Flugzeugwerke was a German aircraft manufacturing company established in 1922. They were probably best known for manufacturing German planes during World War II. After the war they were prohibited from making planes and switched to manufacturing bicycles, motorscooters and a microcar.
The cache container is now a Paint By Number container. Please bring your own pencil or pen.
