Geocache Description:

This cache was placed as part of my Bronze Award Project (Mission Bronze). I plan to hide a cache at every Spanish Mission in the state of California (total is 21)

Known as the king of the Missions, San Luis Rey de Francia is in a sheltered valley just east of Oceanside on Hwy 76. This Mission has a huge cemetery and a beautiful rose garden. It also has the nicest smelling gift shop of all the missions!
