I was quite surprised to find a croquet club here in the heart of Launceston in Royal Park.
What lovely surroundings to play this ancient game.
The game of Croquet is available for all ages and both sexes, giving gentle exercise of both body and mind. It can by played in the open air throughout the year. Beginners usually start by playing Golf Croquet as this game is the easiest to understand. Those wishing to progress to more complicated games may go on to Ricochet Croquet and then to the most complicated, Association Croquet.
The cache is a camo green sistema with log, pencil and swaps. There is no need to enter the croquet grounds.
