The cache is a medium clip lock container containing a log book, pencil and a couple of items to swap.
The cache is located next to Great Raveley Drain, so please take great care. The water is deep and the slope down to it is steep. This area is very popular with walkers, bird watchers and anglers, so gaining access to the cache unseen may prove difficult. The area around the cache can become slippery and muddy during wet weather.
While here why not visit Woodwalton Fen? This is one of the last fragments of undrained fens in East Anglia and is one of the oldest nature reserves in Britian. It is at the heart of the Great Fen Project which aims to link Woodwalton Fen to Holme Fen. This beautiful 500 acre National Nature Reserve is internationally important and provides a refuge for thousands of fen animals and plants many of which are found nowhere else in the country.
