[ITA] Una cache veloce sulla sommità del Passo di San Boldo, in una località molto scenografica.
[ENG] A quick cache on the summit of the San Boldo Pass, in a very scenic location.
[ITA] Il Passo di San Boldo collega le provincie di Treviso e Belluno. La strada che lo percorre, molto scenografica per la presenza di 18 tornanti e 5 strettissime gallerie percorribili da una sola autovettura alla volta, viene detta "Strada dei 100 Giorni" perchè venne completata dall'esercito austro-ungarico tra il febbraio ed il giugno 1918, nel corso della Prima Guerra Mondiale.
Dalla cache ha inizio la strada che porta alle due cache GC3Z2Q2 "La bandiera" e GC3Y5NT "Rifugio dei Loff", poste in un ambiente montano molto bello ma accessibile anche ai bambini (accompagnati dai genitori).
Avvicinandovi a questa cache, fate attenzione ai muggles (pochi, ma ci sono) e portate una penna con voi!
[ENG] The San Boldo Pass connects the provinces of Treviso and Belluno. The road that runs through it, really scenic for the presence of 18 hairpin bends and 5 narrow tunnels that can be used only by one car at a time, is called "Route of the 100 Days" because it was completed by the Austro-Hungarian troops between February and June 1918, during the WWI.
This cache marks the starting point of the road you can follow to reach the two caches GC3Z2Q2 "La bandiera" e GC3Y5NT "Rifugio dei Loff", placed in a mountain area that is really beautiful and can be accessed also by children (under parental guidance).
Approaching the cache, watch out for the muggles (a few, but they are near!) and bring a pen with you!
