Geocache Description:

This is a small cache, that can be done as a series of three along with 'Pass the Paracetamol' and 'Splitting Headache'.  The cache contains (at the time of hiding) a skull lip gloss, two glittery spiders, a log and pencil.

This can also be done as a cash and dash.

This cache is on the footpath between Stoke by Nayland and Thorington Street that passes through the grounds of the once impressive (but now ruined) Tendring Hall estate.  There is parking near a fishing lake on Wick Road, where you can also grab 'Gary's Gone Fishing', or in a small area just off of Stoke Road (B1087).

The cache is situated along a very quiet track that runs between the bottom of Stoke Road, and Wick Road near Thorington Street and Boxted  The spot is rich in impressive and ancient oaks and horse chestnuts, with a lovely view across the surrounding pastures as you approach Wick Road.  The remains of the old walled garden of Tendring Hall can still be seen above the grazing land, behind which is hidden a folly, as well as the pillars and oak doors of the grand entrance to Tendring Hall that remain as lone remnants of the now dissappeared mansion.
