Geocache Description:

When the sun is setting, and the colors in the sky reflect from the stones on the ground, this is one of the prettiest places I know.

I used to visit this cemetery quite often when I lived in the area...so when my sweetie absoluteimagery asked me where I wanted to hide my first cache, this was the place that immediately came to mind.

Take time to look around and enjoy the view. Some stones are very old and intricate. The population in the cemetery actually exceeds the population of the town of Scranton.

The cache container is a small-medium sized camouflaged waterproof container. It contains a log sheet and some trinkets. Because this is a cemetery cache, please be respectful of property and no night caching. This has been placed with permission from the Osage County Historical Society. A big thanks to them for all they do in supporting Osage County communities and Osage County Geocaching!
