Geocache Description:

This Cache introduces you to the New Kiwanis Park Hiking Trails and Observation Platforms

This Cache was placed to let you come and enjoy the new Hiking trails that were constructed in 2011 by over 100 Boy Scouts and the cooperation of the City of Mauston. These trails were constructed in the bluffs above Kiwanis Park. The container is a camo covered Tupperware container with a logbook, you'll have to bring your own writing instrument. The trails that were built also contain two separate observation platforms that let you look out over the surrounding area. To gain access to these trails you'll have to park in the parking area of Kiwanis Park and walk up the paved road about half way till you see the walking trail start to your left. Do not attempt to drive up the paved road to reach the cache quicker it is a one way road and is locked by gates and there is no way to turn around.
