Geocache Description:

A small plastic lock & lock container on the trails in the Bull Run Mountain Conservancy

Welcome to the Loyal Jedi Birds 2012 Geocache Challenge, created by Cub Scout Pack 42, Wolf Den 6, the Loyal Jedi Birds, based at Buckland MIlls Elementary School in Gainesville, VA! The boys have had a great time their first year of cub scouts getting out into the woods and at camp, and are challenging all other to get out as well.

There are four caches in the challenge, each found in a different park in the Gainesville/Haymarket VA area. Each cache contains a clue word or phrase. The first Boy Scout Patrol or Cub Scout Den from the BSA NCAC Bull Run District to find all four caches and unscramble the phrase will win an ice cream party hosted by the Loyal Jedi Birds! For all other groups, you'll unfortunately just get the joy of getting outside and away from the TV, and the satisfaction of solving the puzzle.

The four caches are found in Long Park, Silver Lake Park, the Bull Run Mountain Conservancy and the Conway Robinson State Forest, and range in difficulty from pretty easy to hard.

Cache #3 is in the Bull Round Mountain Conservancy and is small plastic lock box. The clue word is on the the inside of the label in the cache.

Happy geocaching, and good luck!

(And for those wondering, the BRMC now does allow caches on the property, but they are far more restrictive than anywhere else around here. See http://www.brmconservancy.org/geocache.html)
