It was our first and only Adopted cache. With this one out it makes room for more!

There are TB listed. Trust me they ae not in there.

I am tired of doing Maintence. and when we set this there were few caches in this area. It's served it usefulness and thanks to everyone would hunted it.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Jungle, Do you have the Fever, Can you feel the Boogie, Or is that just the drums you hear.

This Cache was serouisly neglected and wasn't in the greatest condition when it was first placed. It was always full of water and the SWAG was either lacking or destroyed by the water. I don't even wanna mention the Log book. (see picture) Since this cache was going to become Endangered, Clan Ferguson decided to save it.

Suggested Parking N 41º 37.036 W 87º 48.101 (same as Treasure of the Troll, GC6493)

There are 2 ways through the Jungle:

The Easy Trail - With a 500+ feet of bush wacking.
Or
The Hard Trail - Will bring you to less then 200 ft of cache.

What is the difference you ask. The Easy trail is paved and Quite obvious. (I know when we first found it it's the way we went.) The hard trail is well, hard to find.
Original posting called it a gravel path behind the parking lot.
  • It's behind the parking lot.
  • it's a path.
  • It's just not a gravel path for about 400 feet even then it's only a gravel path for about 500 feet. But if you follow this the name makes more sense.

As you get deeper in, notice the forested area to your left. There's Kind of a cool ravine thing going on.

The cache has the few things in it that weren't water logged. and we added a few things to help give it a jungle theme. Plus 8 Geocards. To trade/collect. If you want trade card for card. or take one in "LOU" (it's a pun, really) of trading or as a trade. but please only one per group..
