TTV:Phineas and Ferb Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bugs767: It is with a heavy heart that I am archiving this series. My tweener is now a teenager which means no time to geocache or maintain my caches. Hopefully someone will place a new series in this beautiful hidden gem of a park. Thanks to all who found.

Geocache Description:

HORSESHOE BEND PARK KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP

Living with a tweener has made me somewhat of an authority on Tweener TV. What better way to share my pain than with a series of Tweener TV (TTV) caches?

All caches in this series are camoed lock & lock containers hidden 1-40 ft. off trail (hint will specify distance). The hides weren't meant to be challenging, simply to give fellow cachers the opportunity to hike this beautiful park "with a purpose"....lots of smileys! I suggest you enter the park from the entrance opposite Spring Hill Road and proceed to the parking area at N 40 29.828 W 075 02.616.

ON THE INSIDE LID OF EACH CACHE, YOU WILL FIND A CLUE THAT WILL HELP YOU FIND THE COORDINATES FOR A MYSTERY CACHE, TTV: THE FINALE.

Phineas and Ferb is an animated comedy-musical television series that premiered on February 1, 2008. The series follows Phineas Flynn and his English stepbrother Ferb Fletcher on summer vacation. Every day, the boys embark on some grand new project, which annoys their controlling sister, Candace, who frequently tries to reveal their shenanigans to the boys' mother and less frequently to their father. The series follows a standard plot system; running gags occur every episode, and the B-Plot almost always features Perry the Platypus working as a spy ("Agent P") for the OWCA (Organization Without a Cool Acronym), to fight an evil scientist named Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. However, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, or Doof as he refers to himself, feels the need to assert his evilness. Sometimes, other villains scoff at his level of evil. The two plots intersect at the end to erase all traces of the boys' project just before Candace can show it to their mother. This usually leaves Candace very frustrated.

I admit, this is my favorite. Being a doof myself, I love Doof and his “evil” plans for the Tri-State Area! He always cracks me up.

At the time of the hide, parts of the trail were muddy and others slippery due to wet leaves. There are a couple of steep climbs and several spots where you must cross a stream via rocks. There are also many parts of the trail that are flat. I would suggest taking a trail map but then again, I have zero sense of direction! I always take a trail map and even then I often get lost.
