Geocache Description:

There is a seat provided for those that would like a wee rest. Below is Downies Burn park which for many years was the venue for the Newmilns cattle show.

A series of caches on a 5 mile circuitous walk that is not really suitable for cache and dashing. It begins with an uphill climb to the south rim of the valley before levelling out through deciduous woodland. The route then descends through the Lanfine estates to the west lodge in Newmilns and returns to Darvel along a pleasant riverside walk.

FTF goes to Rose & Thistle..........well done.
