Geocache Description:

The Girl Guides Association was founded in 1910 by Robert Baden-Powell who was the founder of the Boy Scout movement.  From as early as 1909 girls in Australia were forming guiding groups and by 1920 the Girl Guide Associations had been formed in six states. In 1926 the State Associations federated and formed a national organisation. Over a million Australian women have been or are still Girl Guides.

The hall you see here belongs to the Ginninderra District, which is one of the Girl Guide Districts in the ACT-NSW Region. Ginninderra District offers guiding activities for girls from as young as 5 years old and up to 18.

Girl Guides Australia provides leadership and personal skills development to its 30,000 members, including 22,000 youth members. They provide a non-formal educational program that is dynamic and flexible while offering values based training in life skills, decision making and leadership. The Australian Guide Program is delivered to girls by trained volunteer leaders.

The geocache you are looking for is a small clear container that is big enough for a few swaps. Please make sure you return it safely to it's hiding spot. Be aware that this location is very popular and is near soccer and softball fields, as well as being frequented by many guides during the week and weekends.
