Geocache Description:

Bridge to Terabithia

Bridge to Terabithia is a 2007 fantasy drama film directed by Gábor Csupó and adapted for film by David L. Paterson and Jeff Stockwell. The film is based on the Katherine Paterson novel of the same name, and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures in the US. The film stars Josh Hutcherson, Anna-Sophia Robb, Robert Patrick, bailee Madison and Zooey Deschanel. Bridge to Terabithia tells the story of Jess Aarons and Leslie Burke, twelve-year-old neighbors who create a fantasy world called Terabithia and spend their free time together in an abandoned tree house. Jesse Aarons trained all summer to become the fastest runner in school, so he's very upset when newcomer Leslie Burke outruns him and everyone else. Despite this and other differences, including that she's rich, he's poor, and she's a city girl, he's a country boy, the two become best friends. Together, they create a fantasy world called Terabithia, a land of monsters, trolls, ogres, and giants and rule as king and queen.
