Geocache Description:


Yamoto Pedestrian Bridge is a bridge over the Tsurumi-river. It was 1m wide narrow bridge on a water pipe. So even for pedestrians, it is hard to go by each other. In 2011, The water pipe was replaced to under-river pipe. So the bridge replaced to 4m wide pedestrians bridge. 谷本人道橋は鶴見川を渡る歩行者専用の橋です。もともとは水道管の上を利用した幅1mほどの橋で、人同士のすれ違いも困難なほどの狭い橋でした。
平成23年、水道管が鶴見川の下を通るようになったため廃止が検討されましたが、利用者の要望により幅4mの新たな歩行者用の橋に架け替えられました。
