Any time of the year is good to hunt for this cache and to enjoy yet another excellent view of Atlin Lake, be sure to bring your camera. The cache is small, but holds a few treasures!
If you are visiting Atlin, and want a short enjoyable walk, you can park your vehicle in the public area by the lakeshore downtown near the Tarahne and the interpretative sign about Atlin Lake. from there, you can follow the short path that leads north away from the parking lot. The path comes out onto McBride Blvd, which takes you past the Brewery Bay Hotel, past the docks, and along the lakeshore, and past the Old Atlin Hospital. As you get closer to the cache you will see an open grassy area to your right with the old Forestry Trailer, there is an excellent view of Atlin Lake and Theresa Island from this area, looking west. Once you have found the cache, you may want to check you the picnic table near the lakeshore and enjoy the view.
