Agfest is a nationally renowned agricultural field day held annually in the first week of May at the Quercus Rural Youth Park on the outskirts of Carrick, Tasmania.
It was first held in 1983 and is run by the Rural Youth Organisation of Tasmania with profits assisting Tasmania Rural Counselling. It has grown to be the state's largest single event and now regularly attracts up to 70,000 visitors during the three days in May each year at the 200-acre (80 ha) site in rural Carrick. It now also has a cache.
The cache is a small sistema with logbook, pencil and small swaps.
PLEASE NOTE: The black box screwed to the tree is NOT the cache and is in no way involved with this cache. The box was presumedly placed by the AgFest people some time after cache placement, so please do not attempt to open it or tamper with it.
