Geocache Description:

Paisley's once famous Kelburne Cinema was built in 1933 and opened on the 27th November of the same year, it had a facade of marmino, a special kind of brightly coloured terrazzo, and at night it was illuminated by an extensive neon sign.

I have along with most of Renfrewshire very fond memories of the Kelburne Cinema.  The plush velvet curtains and fancy ushers and ice cream ladies made the experience magical.

Now demolished the old Kelburne site is host to Kelburne Court Care Homes for the elderly.

The cache is located on the Glasgow Road on the site where the Picture hall once stood.  It is outside of Kelburne Homes.

Always busy with muggles so be careful and replace carefully !!..oh and remember a pen ;)
