B Navigator: This is truly a bittersweet moment. In 2012, I planted this cache as a boy scout to earn the Geocaching Merit Badge. Since not a lot of large caches exist, I chose to go big and make this one count. Throughout the years, I have maintained this cache once and a while while out on the Greenway. Though Geocaching was a terrific hobby, most of my friends and family were not very interested in it, and I often had to drag them along to get to caches. With very little support, I gradually stopped geocaching as I aged out from the Boy Scouts and started college. After two years in college, I have officially decided to archive all of my caches and disable my account. It is now the end of an era as I start a new chapter in life. However, I want to thank all finders and cachers who enjoyed Boone- you truly made it special. Hopefully, another cacher will follow and plant some great caches in Boone, NC.
