Located on the scenic cliff path between Dee Why and North Curl Curl. Wonderful ocean views up and down the coast.
PLEASE USE STEALTH! THIS IS THE FIFTH CACHE I'VE PLACED FOR BADGER'S OUTLOOK. PATH CAN BE BUSY ON SUNNY WEEKENDS.
Part I was a fake stone in the roots of the old tree on the West side of the path.
Part II was another fake stone North of the tree, but to the East of the path. It was hidden (in plain view) under a small retaining wall. When I investigated the DNF's I discovered the retaining wall has gone and the area covered with leaf litter. It could be that the recent rains collapsed the area and it also looks like a nearby tree has subsided.
Part III was a larger container (I prefer bigger ones these days) and unlike its predecessors is hidden out of sight, but in a low place that cachers are likely to gravitate to.
Part IV was another plastic container, which once again didn't last very long.
Today (16/7/2016), I have placed (Part V) a more natural camo and moved the location a few metres away to guard against instant loss if previous losses have been due to a serial culprit.
Pretty please with cherry on top take care not to draw attention to the cache.
