Geocache Description:

A little post-event event near the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. A chance to hang out and chat with....who knows who??

The GPS Adventures Maze has finally landed in Oregon, and what better place but the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. The home of the "Spruce Goose" now has in residence one of the most popular geocaching exhibits, one that will get cachers one of the unique icons that are awarded for doing what we do so well...finding caches.

The maze has been here for a few weeks, but on Nov. 15th, Groundspeak will be holding an event at the museum, GC407NT. The CEO of Groundspeak, and one of the founders, Jeremy Irish will be there to celebrate with the geocaching community. Click on the related web page link above for information on the event. A fun time will be held by all.

The Groundspeak event will be held at the museum. But afterwards, how about a little get together for geocachers, in a relaxed location, just to chat and swap caching stories. Nothing fancy, just hang out for awhile, and sample one of the local establishments and their fare. Please log a "Will Attend" and the number of folks coming with you, so I can give the pub a head count (already given them a Deadhead count......).

LOCATION:
McMenamin's Pub
310 N.E. Evans Street
McMinnville, OR 97128

Time will be from 8:30pm until 10:00pm (hey, Friday's a work day....). Informal get together, no drawings, no announcements, no prizes, just a chance for a late snack or dinner with some fellow geocachers, and who knows who else may show up. After all, to quote Ken Kesey, "Never trust a prankster...."
