Al Khor Garden & Park is towards the north of Doha. It is one of the biggest parks with huge lawns and the beautiful salt cedar trees. It might be interesting to note that some interesting birds are spotted here frequently. So you can also fancy a bit of bird watching in this park.( when completed in December 2012 ..In Shala..)

The Park upgrade project works due for completion December 2012 include demolition and dismantling of existing facilities, removal of the existing roads and reconstruction of new roads and parking, new administrative, restaurant buildings, mosque, museum, animal farm, a bird’s aviary, amphitheater, gazebos, shaded canopy play areas, toy-train rail, skating areas cooling plant, water fountains, jogging track, benches and lights.
