Geocache Description:

This hide is dedicated to my mate Jike67 who at the time of hiding had amassed 157 finds and 5 hides, the majority of which he had completed on his bike (no carbon footprint here Geocaching.com). It has been placed at a location that is handy for say a mountain biker to get to, but real awkward for walkers and impossible for Balatty.

The cache is placed along the Ulster Way on a farm lane, although this is a public walkway it is in daily use by farmers moving cattle etc. Please exercise caution and if you have a dog with you keep it on a lead on this section of the path.

Getting there....... There is access from the Ballysallagh Road but there is NO Parking available (please respect the signs and the access rights of people living here), so really a bicycle is the only way of getting near it from here. The Ballysallagh Road is a very busy road with fast moving traffic so I wouldn't recommend walking along it to get access.

If you are not taking a bike you're going to have to start from the Belfast Road at the trail head for one of my other caches

GC3WTAV

and be prepared for a decent walk. Alternativly you could park up at N 54° 37.647 W 005° 42.902 and go at it from hear picking up two other caches on your way,

GC13XQP and
GC13QP6

but be prepared for a lengthy walk, so why not take the bike !!

The cache itself is a small 35mm film case containing only a log so bring a pen. The cache however is hidden within an outer cammoed container. Please do not remove it from its fixings. There is one way only of removing it and a well prepared cyclist should have no problems. Please replace any parts that you may have had to remove paying particular attention to the instructions on the back of the log as to how to put it back (if necessary give it a tap).
