A small clip lock box in Gutteridge Wood. Being woodland, I don't know how pin-point accurate the coordinates are. Please let me know if they are wildly out. The clue should help. *You do not have to leave the path to find this cache.* It can get very muddy here and the duck boards will be slipppery when wet.
Gutteridge, formerly Grutedge and before that Great Hedge, is hundreds of years old and is dominated by oak, with relict hazel beneath. Managed by London Wildlife Trust, it is being restored by coppicing, which results in beautiful displays of bluebells in Spring.
This cache is placed with the kind permission of the London Wildlife Trust who have asked that no excessive or unnecessary damage is caused to the sensitive flora.
