Out on a hide run with TaGeez when we decided this would be a great place for a "Small World" hide. TaGeez ran out of gas. My front tire started to wobble. We were delayed by construction and traffic cones. Several cars veered towards us. A dog ran out into the road. And then we pulled into the lot. Almost locked the keys in the car. My batteries on my GPS died. I forgot the container, the pen, the notepad in the car. It's cold out. Where are my keys? Tripped over a pile of logs covered in leaves. Stepped into a pool of water. Startled a chattering squirrel. Dropped the cache. Container didn't fit. Forgot the extra logs at home. Dropped the cache, again. Snagged my hair in the branches. Lost my knit hat. Startled by a neighbor across the street screaming for the dog we missed. Where's the cache? Fell through the hole in TaGeez's pocket. GPS won't settle. IPhone won't settle. Android phone won't settle. Cache hid. Tripped on the way out. Dropped the GPS. My jeans are muddy. Where are my keys?
Not the "woods on Beech" but Murphy's Woods. Because if it could happen.... Wishing you better luck on the find!
