Geocache Description:

This cache is being placed to honor US Coast Guard Master Chief Angela M. McShan. YNCM Angela M. McShan, USCG, passed away due to heart failure and complications from cancer. Born in Newport ,R.I., she joined the Coast Guard in July 1979, and was serving as an instructor at the Chief Petty Officers Academy which she helped establish in New London, Conn. in June 1998. She was the first female African-American in the Coast Guard to be advanced to master chief.

The cache container is a small Lock-n-Lock. The bronze grave marker contains the information to answer the questions below to obtain the coordinates for the final container and log.
