For the past two years, I've enjoyed geocaching. Many of my favorite caches have been puzzle caches so I thought I would attempt to create a puzzle cache for others to enjoy. When solving the puzzles, it often says you will have to do some math. I chuckle when the math involved is just adding or subtracting a one-digit number. I enjoy math so I thought I would create a puzzle where you need to do some math beyond the first grade level. The math necessary to solve this puzzle is taught in an 8th or 9th grade algebra course. Maybe it has been a few years since you have taken an algebra test but this should be easy. After all, you can use a calculator, a textbook, the internet, or pick the brain of an honor student. And unlike a high school quiz, you can check your answers using Geochecker.
Solve the puzzle and use your answers to come up with the coordinates at N43 AB.CDE W87 FG.HIJ.
You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.
The cache container is a micro and should be an easy find. The 3 difficulty rating is for the puzzle.
