Legendenweg nach St. Jakob
Hinter der Pfarrkirche St. Christina startet der neue Legendenweg St. Jakob,
der zum ältesten Kirchlein Grödens führt, dem St. Jakobskirchlein. Aufgrund des geringen Höhenunterschiedes (lediglich 40 Höhenmeter) ist dieser für Groß und Klein (auch mit Kinderwagen) geeignet. Der Weg wurde von den Schülern der Grundschule St. Christina durch 16 Tafeln mit der Legende des Grafen von St. Jakob bis zum Bauernhof „Festil“ verschönert. Beim Bauernhof angelangt ist das Kirchlein in Sichtweite und durch einen steilen aber kurzen Anstieg erreichbar. Dauer Hin- und Rückweg: 2 Std.

A S. Giacomo lungo il sentiero delle leggende
Dietro alla chiesa parrocchiale di S. Cristina parte il nuovo Sentiero della Leggenda di S. Giacomo che conduce fino all’omonima chiesetta, la più antica della Val Gardena. Il dislivello limitato – appena 40 m – lo rende adatto a grandi e piccini (anche in passeggino). Il tratto di sentiero fino al maso Festil è arricchito da 16 cartelloni, collocati dagli alunni della scuola elementare di S. Cristina, che raccontano la leggenda del Conte di S. Giacomo. Dal maso, la chiesetta è davvero vicina: la si raggiunge con una salita, ripida ma breve.

Along the path of legends to San Giacomo
Behind the parish church of S. Cristina is the starting point of the new “Path of the San Giacomo Legend” leading up to the church of San Giacomo,
the oldest in Val Gardena. Just 40 metres of altitude difference makes
it suitable for all ages (including buggies and strollers). The section of trail up to the farmhouse Festil has been embellished by the elementary
school students of S. Cristina with 16 billboards depicting the legend of Count San Giacomo. The church is only a short distance away from the farmhouse. The trail ends with a short but steep climb. Time: 2 hours
