Geocache Description:

Located in a nice prairie area, along the Knapweed Trail. Good trail for hiking or cross-country skiing.  Park in the gravel lot near the front entrance to the park.  Follow game trails to GZ where a micro in a small's body is hidden.  You may need to push up in the middle of the base to screw cover back on. Please add additional geocover as needed. BYOP

This short "treat series" is in honor of the guys in my life who've never turned down a sweet.  After all:  Life is Uncertain, Eat Dessert First!

Grandpa Jack would come home from church bake sales with a blueberry pie for me **wink wink**. The shared secret was that I had to let everyone else have some too, and they weren't to know that I was his favorite and that's why he bought me the pie.  Years later I found out that he did the same thing with all the grandkids and their favorite desserts!  Sneaky man, but we all felt the love!  Grandma would ask why he bought desserts when she baked all the time (and was famously good).  He answered that he just couldn't leave an unbid item at the sale.  I still buy the "unbid items" at auctions and know he's grinning down at me!

Daily or yearly park sticker required (daily available at parking area). Park hours are 6am-11pm. During cross-country ski season, please keep off the groomed trails. Also, there is hunting allowed in this part of the park during the 9-day deer season at the end of November and a few days in the spring during turkey hunting. Just be aware of your surroundings.
