Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in Cattail Marsh, a unique and beautiful area where wildlife abounds. It's open daily from 8 am to 5 pm.


There are all kinds of critters out here so be sure to bring your binoculars and camera if you decide to make the trek out. Be aware that some of this wildlife doesn't play well with us humans so watch your step and where you put your hands while on your visit.

Hiking for this cache makes for a great experience but a couple of miles of travel are involved. I placed it with the aid of my bicycle and that is definitely the way to go if you want to make better time.

You're looking for a small container which houses a logsheet and pen. It should be easy to spot once you make your arrival to ground zero.

Also note that this is one of four caches that has a code in it needed to find the Cattail Bonus cache. Be sure to record this letter and number if you're interested in finding that bonus cache!
