Tsuruhashi Station Area - Osaka's Mecca of all things Korean
(NOTE: Recently a note was added that the log was full. Because of Covid I do not plan to come into Osaka anytime soon, if you plan to visit this cache it would be appreciated if you add a new log sheet. Just a plain piece of paper will work just fine. Throw away the old log sheet. Thanks very much!) This shopping area entrance is just a small section of the Korean area surrounding Tsuruhashi Station. Not only do the subway, JR and Kintetsu lines all come together here, but if the area is always packed with people wanting to eat at the hundreds of Korean restaurants. Standing on the train platforms the smell of Korean BBQ almost pulls you out of the station and into the multitudes walking around looking for a place to eat.
There aren't any nearby caches in the area. At first this was surprising, but for some reason it just doesn't look like a really good area for cache placement. -------- This cache is placed a short distance from Tsuruhashi Station so there are fewer muggles at the GZ. The cache can easily be seen, though it might easily be missed at first glance.
