This cache is located along a new trail connecting Green Park Close with Washmill Lake Drive.
What better way is there to celebrate the opening of a new trail than to hide a geocache along it!! This trail was built by a developer who it appears is busy building on both sides of the trail. The trail itself, along with a small amount of woodland, will be donated to HRM as their "Parkland Contribution". It is interesting that the trail was built before the construction activity is complete.
This new trail is only about 700 m long and connects Green Park Close with Washmill Lake Drive, the newest street access into Bayers Lake Business Park. Although, in theory, the cache can be approached from either end of the trail, due to the bikelanes along Washmill which prohibits parking along that street, access is best from Green Park Close. The trailhead is not marked per se but is pretty obvious as you drive along.
The cache is located roughly mid-way along and about 15 m off the trail. Hopefully you will all be curious enough to walk the rest of the trail after you grab it!! We have seen several Deer near the trail so best to be quiet....
