Medium size container with trades available. Cache is neither ontop or under the rock outcropping, just near. Do not go under or climb ontop! It is not stable! Part of the woodline in this cemetery is posted no trespassing. This is to discourage hunters. Don Gregor, Supervisor of the cemetery, welcomes Geocachers so you may ignore the signs. If anyone questions you, tell them you are Geocaching and if you have any problems call Don at the Cemetery office.
Park at Grandview Cemetery in Monessen at the bottom of the hill. Enter the trails that overlook the river across the power line.This cache is located where we used to play as kids 30 or more years ago. The cache is located near the rock outcropping but is neither under it or over it. Please do not go on top of the rock outcrop and do not go underneath the rock overhang. It is not safe and the cache is not there! This will require some climbing to get to the cache. Bring gloves. And remember, do not go on top of the rock face or under it! Not recommended in snow, as climbing will be very difficult. Heavy undergrowth in summer. Please wear the required orange during hunting season!
