W2J06: New Plantation Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Happy Humphrey: I've been waiting for an opportunity to recover all the containers in the series, but every time I have a free couple of hours it rains! I'll archive now and retrieve later.

Geocache Description:

Part of the Walking To Jerusalem series.

From W2J05, the lane ends where another lane crosses. But the bridleway continues along the hedge, with lovely open views across to the former Welbeck Colliery pit tip (now grassing over nicely). Eventually you reach some aluminium posts (to block vehicles) and the cache site. Please replace carefully so that the magnet is holding the keysafe micro in place and so that the "open" end is facing down.

ABOUT THE WALKING TO JERUSALEM SERIES

A series of 13 caches leading round a circular route in a lovely part of Sherwood Forest. See the description of number 13 for a map and for more details.

Each cache contains a logbook / sheet with a number linked to a letter (such as "A=7"). Use these letters and numbers to find the final cache (number 13).
