Welcome to one of the most scenic spots in Canberra, from a most unusual hill. This cache replaces another nearby.
From this spot, you will get a very unusual view of Canberra. Originally the cache was over the fence, and near to the Trig Station which is clearly visible from GZ, but we have moved it and re-named the site, so that no one is offended by its position (despite the fact we know the farmer who leases the site with the Trig). It's your decision if you go to the top of the hill, but its not necessary to find the cache and you would be going onto privately leased land.
The new cache is clearly on publicly accessable land. In sight of GZ, or a little higher, you can see some of Canberra's most important technical and technology buildings. I wont point them out, as you can find them on Google Maps!
This cache represents the Attorney Generals Department. They have the responsibility of overseeing the various agencies who do the secret work of the Commonwealth Government.
