Kardinya Parks is a mini series through some of the many parks in Kardinya. From each cache you must collect the digits (located under the lid of the cache) to receive the final coordinates to the final cache at Morris Buzacott Reserve.
THE AREA
The cache is located in Fredrick Baldwin Reserve in Kardinya next to North Lake Road. The park has plenty of space to run around in and sheltered by many pine trees. There is a playground for the kids to play in while you look for the cache nearby. On the other side of the park near the shops under the pine trees is a basketball hoop. There are are places to sit dotted around the park. There is parking available near the mini shopping centre and daycare and from there you can walk around (There is a waypoint to help you). There is a massive pond in the middle of the park and it is home to frogs, turtles and all the amazing types of waterbirds. I recommend watching the wildlife from the playground area after 4 pm as it's really nice in that area at that time. The area where the cache is located is it's own little world and even though North Lake Road is close by you just forget about it for a small amount of time. I'm sure you will enjoy this cool park as much as I do!
THE CACHE
The cache is a clear 200ml sistema container with blue clips. On the underneath of the lid are two of the digits of the co ordinates to the final cache at Morris Buzacott Reserve - - Don't forget to write them down. The cache is located next to the man made mini pond. If you face towards North Lake Road looking at the mini pond on the right there are some reeds and next to them there are rocks. Look carefully at the rocks and you will find it. There is room for some small trackables inside. There is only a log so bring a writing stick.
