Geocache Description:

A scenic coastal walk/ clamber. to a cave & an optional stone lift!

I have tried to locate this cave before & failed. But success this time and also located the legendary Dripping (Drooping Cave) stone. The stone is smooth, black & roughly 300lbs. The challange I believe is to get the stone on to your shoulder via your lap & chest, much like in the Highland Games or Strongman events. the stone is just to the right before you step up to the cave entrance.

Drooping (Dripping) cave is a tricky one to access and only about 30 - 40 feet long before access is blocked by 2 squeezes, which I did not venture past..... you will get wet & muddy. Well worth the effort, but be aware of the risks.

Be sure of your abilities before attempting this cache, make sure that you are confident at clambering over rocks/boulders & outcrops etc along this section of coast.

Be aware of the tide return times, before making any attempt, it can come in very fast along this section of coast.

'Google in' Moray Firth Tide Times. I prefer www.tidetimes.org.uk.
