Located in the Big Maria mountains north of Blythe is an opening on one of the mountain sides that has hot humid air venting out of it. Occasionally there is also a sulphur smell as well.
Take Lovekin Road north from Blythe towards the old town of Midland. A few miles before Midland you'll see the Arlington Mine road on your left. Immediately across from it, to the east, is the road you want to follow. Depending on your mode of transportation you can travel all the way to the two trailhead options given. T1 is the one we usually go to. Once there you'll see a yellow car fender in the wash. This is the direction to hike up the ridge and once up top follow it to the cache. This is the route we take.
T2 is the shorter of the two, with a slightly steeper climb up the ridge, but once on top you're following the exact same route to the cache.
