The sign says Evergreen Cemetery. The maps say Harmony Cemetery. And that's where the oddness seems to start.
The cache is a small plastic container that contains mini/small swag and could hold mini TBs and coins. BYOP
The flagpole and the gate seem to be new but everything else seems to be old. And....are all the headstones facing the wrong way? Are alot of the graves just a bit too close together. Trees in odd places.
Some markers here are very unusual but there are actually a lot of neat stones here as well. There are even a couple of Civil War veterans resting here.
Did I mention that near the back half of the cemetery you can see the original fence as well as remains of the tree line that surrounded the west and north side of the cemetary grounds (and the stones seem too close there too; and there is a fence outside of all that too? The main driveway in doesn't quite seem to allow you to comfortably drive out. A neat little cemetery near the corner of 3 Kansas counties. I first discovered this place on an overnight patrol, then visited several times and placed this cache at night as well. Just an eerie uncomfortable weirdness here for me. Maybe the daytime will be better for you.
