Geocache Description:

Federal law Title 5 Section 6103 Veterans Day, November 11

President Woodrow Wilson declared November 11, 1919 a holiday, "Armistice Day", however it wasn't until 1938 that Congress made Armistice Day an annual legal holiday. Because Armistice Day was a day of rememberance for those who died in World War I, in 1945 it started to become commonplace to celebrate all veterans instead of only those who died in WWI. In 1954, Congress officially renamed the holiday to Veterans Day. The holiday was celebrated on the fourth Monday of October from 1971-77 but was then returned to November 11.

What's the difference between Veterans Day and Memorial Day? Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans, while Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving.

If you have served in the military, I thank you for your time, your service, your courage, and your honor.

When you arrive at the posted coordinates you will be at a US Post Office with a memorial set up in front of the building. Most of the answers can be found in this area however the 2 items that mention a "tablet" require you to go to the entrance of the post office. The tablet is located in the entrance way just inside the first set of doors on your right-hand side.

This cache is listed as NOT winter accessible. Be aware that the stones you need to read for clues B, C, and YY are on the ground and are not shoveled off during the winter. I would think it's ok to try and wipe away snow, but do NOT attempt to shovel the stones off as this is prohibited. The physical container is also difficult to find with snowfall.

The physical geocache can be found at the following coordinates: N 43 0A.BCD, WE 076 0X.YYZ
