The Elephant walk includes the Smith Creek Bike Trail which starts near Stebonheath Park and continues upto Uley Rd covering a total of 6kms of creek and bushland in s urban setting, Please take note when planning to attempt this series as it does have some steep inclines on the way. Please place the cache back where you found it. A slight deviation of the track, not to far and you'll be back on track A nice place to walk, or have a drink over yonder or explore the old school building
Where this Small cache is located in a place of old history and growth. There is a deep rooted history in Smithfield, this walk of tree's is one of them. The second is by far the biggest one in the row. The Old township of Smithfield still has remains of days gone by. When sheep would wander the streets, and locals tethered their horses to the rails at the hotel, and Children attended the local school from the late 1800's.
