Geocache Description:

This replaces the old Boycie cache now archived.
It's a container containing log book and pencil.

Mt Boyce is 3573 feet above sea level and the highest point on the Great Western Highway.

Of interest is the scar tree. Aboriginal people used bark from scar trees for shields and colloamons.  Using stone or steel axes, the shape of the object was outlined in the bark, then the bark was pulled from the tree.  This created scar trees.

It is possible to park near the cache location.
