Winthrop Wonders - Piney Lakes Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

inspicio: One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future, just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it still meets the current

guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

Piney Lakes is my eighth ever cache and the fifth cache in the series Winthrop Wonders. The series aims to let people see the cool parks in Winthrop.

THE AREA

The cache is located on a trail in Piney Lakes. The park has plenty of space to run around in. There is a playground for the kids nearby after you find the cache. There is a dog park area that streches for ages either side of the trail gate entry but please note NO DOGS OR BICYCLES ARE ALLOWED in the section of Piney Lakes where the cache is. There is pond nearby with ducks. There is a water fountain nearby to entry gate to the trail (Halfway alongside the path up the hill from the gate). There are plenty of places to sit, in the sun or shade nearby. Parking is available along the playground side of the park (From Murdoch Dr) but it is a fair walk. There is are toilets near the playground but they are far away.

THE CACHE

The cache is a 200ml Sistema container with blue clips. It has room for a log, pencil and small items. I hope I can get some small items into the cache soon. The area of the cache is shaded by pine trees and just off the trail by one metre or so. The cache is easy and good for first time geocachers or testing the GPS. Please replace it exactly the same as you found it. Please be careful of plants and animals while looking for the cache.

Good Luck & Have Fun!
