Geocache Description:

Gyoko road is the road of about 7 km up to U.S. Army Camp Zama in Japan from JR Yokohama Line Machida Station.

BTW, Gyoko's other name is Miyuki. It is Royal Outing.
At that time, Showa Tenno(Emperor) visited to Military academy graduation ceremony.
It made for this royal outing. So, It name is Gyoko road.
After that, he visit graduation ceremony every year.

Surprisingly, this road has been built just two months.
Memorial monument is next to the Isetan.
Cache is hidden around there.
It is micro,please bring your pen.

行幸道路は、JR横浜線の町田駅から在日米陸軍キャンプ座間までの約7キロの道です。

ところで、行幸とは御幸ともいい、天皇が外出することを言います。
昭和天皇が、陸軍士官学校の卒業式に行幸するための道路として作られたため
その呼び名で親しまれています。
その後、天皇は毎年卒業式に行幸したそうです。

驚くべきことに、この道路はたった２ヶ月で整備されました。
完成記念の石碑が伊勢丹横にあります。
Cacheはその近くに隠しました。
microサイズです、ペンをお持ちください。
