A (S)mall Diversion
The cache, a magnetic key box, is hidden in a well-known Nairobi mall and will provide a fun 30 minutes diversion from your other mall activities . . .
All the steps and final are located under open skies, so although your GPSr may not perform (well) in the covered areas you should (as I did) regain satellite contact soon enough.
Step 1: Having parked your car and cleared the security check head for the large internal open space anywhere near S 01 13.733 E 036 48.300. The number of large arches containing the main gastronomic activities area = A
Step 2: Proceed south and up the steps to the middle level where near S 01 13.758 E 036 48.303 you will find a large starry mosaic. The number of points on this star = B
Step 3: Next go to S 01 13.766 E 036 48.293 where you will be overlooking a small internal courtyard. The number of (~10m tall) palm trees growing here in circular planters = C
Step 4: Also in this area near S 01 13.771 E 036 48.290 you will find an oriental establishment. The number of fierce felines guarding the entrance to this = D
Update 3/4/16: New construction work means that the TWO lions which were guarding the Chinese restaurant have now fled!
Step 5: Pass through to the rear of the complex to S 01 13.808 E 036 48.279 where you will find yourself near the entrance to the golf putting course and water slides area. The number (of the golf hole) indicated on the rock (not the pole) at ground level about 5m to your left as you stand facing the course close to the entrance gate = E (Note: this is not the number of the actual hole closest to the gate)
Please note that the clue for Step 5 has gone - so until I can organise a substitute clue, please use E=5 in your final coordinate calculations
Step 6: Now onwards passing through to the front side of the complex to the corner by the post office @ S 01 13.777 E 036 48.262. The number of large palm trees there = F
Update 3/4/16: New construction work means that the TWO palms that were on the corner have been removed!

Caution: being a busy mall, there will always be many muggles around, but the location is a relatively quiet spot and with care, timing and suitable stealth tactics you should be able to do the necessary without too much trouble.
